Miss Moyinoluwa Abdulkareem, a nineteen
year old girl who was allegedly kidnapped by a motorcyclist popularly
called Okada rider in Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State last
Friday, was found late Sunday.
Abdulkareem, who is a student of
Prospect High School, Owo, was reportedly found on Idanre road in Akure
after she was said to have escaped from the den of her kidnappers and
had been reunited with her family.
The girl was reportedly abducted by an
Okada rider which she boarded after writing her NECO examination and
going to one of the new generation banks in the town for transaction.
The Okada rider was said to have diverted his movement into a bush after seeing a police check-point.
Narrating her ordeal, the girl said it
was a divine intervention as she was only being courageous to utilise a
slim chance to beat her abductors when they forgot to lock the door of
the room where she and other victims were kept.
She disclosed that the motocyclist handed her over to his collaborators who had waited in a car after he was given an envelope.
According to her, there were also two
pregnant women and two young boys she suspected were also victims in the
place where they were kept.
