Many fathers like to play pranks on their children, but not many will go far enough to mock them for all of the Internet to see.

One father though, has no problem with mocking his teenage son and daughter online, much to the enjoyment of his fans.

Chris 'Burr' Martin, from Washington, has taken to trolling his teenage kids on social media by recreating their selfies and posting his copycat photos in response to their original posts.

Hilarious: A prankster Dad has taken to copying selfies his children take and posting them on social media

Not happy: Daughter Cassie Martin posted on social media complaining about her Dad, saying he 'harasses' her

'So my daughter has been posting sexy selfies of herself and instead of telling her to stop, well, I thought of something better,' the comedian and podcaster wrote on Instagram.

In one photo, he used a permanent marker to draw on an interpretation of his daughter Cassie's tattoo, as well as wearing a wreath of plastic leaves to emulate the Snapchat filter she used in her selfie.

In another, he pulls a full duck face as he takes a selfie in the mirror. Like in the original photo, Mr Martin is wearing pajama pants, a crop top and has a drawn on 'tattoo' peeking out from under his short t-shirt.

Matching: In another, he takes a mirror selfie in the same outfit, although his stomach isn't quite so flat under the white crop top

In another photo Mr Martin makes fun of his daughter's thick eyeliner, drawing on his own and pouting for the camera.

In yet another he copies her outfit, wearing jeans, a white crop top and a flannelette shirt-although his stomach isn't quite as flat as his teenage daughter's.

In a caption on Instagram the dad admitted that he didn't think ahead when using permanent marker for the joke.

'Took me 3 days to get all the ink off.lol,' he wrote.

He even posted one pranking his son to celebrate the teenager's birthday, posing in a red t-shirt and white sunglasses.

It seems that his children aren't quite as happy with his pranks though, with Cassie taking to Twitter and Facebook to vent.

'My father harasses me on social media,' she wrote.

One of the Facebook posts, where both father and daughter are wearing crowns of leaves, has been shared more than 15,000 times.
