A Good Samaritan- FRSC officials help woman give birth in their van (photos)

An unnamed woman gave birth to a baby girl in the FRSC van in Upper Iweka, Onitsha, Anambra State;

– “We give all the glory to God,” FRSC authorities wrote.


Some women deliver their babies in the comfort of a large hospital full of machines, heart monitors and a full surgical staff, while others often find themselves in the wrong place at the wrong time when their babies finally arrive.


This is exactly what happened to a heavily pregnant woman in Upper Iweka on Tuesday, January 26. Officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) report about the unidentified woman who went into labor and gave birth to a baby girl in their vehicle on the way to Toronto hospital.


However, it’s still unclear where exactly the baby was born, as the photos accompanying the story show the woman and the girl lying in a drainage system. “We give all the glory to God,” FRSC members wrote.
